RTT Hypnotherapy

Perhaps you want to feel calmer and more confident. To stop overthinking. To let go of a fear that is limiting your life. To move forward from something that has happened. Or to finally change a pattern you understand but can't seem to shift.

You may know exactly how you want to think, feel or behave and yet still find yourself responding in ways that seem to have a mind of their own.

RTT hypnotherapy gives us a way to explore the beliefs, meanings and associations influencing those responses and begin creating change from the inside out.

Perhaps you recognise yourself here?

I specialise in these areas:

Confidence & Limiting Beliefs

You know you're capable, but something keeps getting in the way.

Perhaps you second-guess yourself, compare yourself with others, hold back from opportunities or struggle with the feeling that you're simply not good enough.

You may consciously want success, more self belief or positive change while another part of you seems determined to keep you stuck where you are.

Anxiety & Overthinking

Your mind rarely seems to switch off. You replay conversations, anticipate what might go wrong, struggle with uncertainty or find yourself worrying about things you know logically may never happen.

Sometimes your body reacts before you've even had time to think - tension, a racing heart, a knot in your stomach or that familiar sense that something isn't right.

Moving Forward After Difficult Experiences

Sometimes life changes us in ways we didn't expect.

A loss, relationship breakdown, frightening experience or difficult period may be over yet you can still feel its effects in the way you think, feel or respond today.

Perhaps you feel stuck, have lost confidence in yourself or the future, or simply don't feel like the person you were before.

Fears & Phobias

You may know rationally that you're safe but your response says otherwise.

A particular situation, object or experience can trigger fear that feels automatic, overwhelming or completely out of proportion to the actual threat.

Logic isn't enough to switch that response off.

You don't need to arrive knowing why you feel the way you do. Understanding that is part of the work we do together.

“I had a lot of trauma and unpleasant stuff from the past that was causing me anxiety and unhappiness. After my sessions with Ashleigh, I feel completely different. I feel much more positive and confident... I put myself out there and went for a job interview and got the job! I was also able to have a clear discussion with my husband about what I wanted.”

Brenda Coleman - wife, mother, and teacher

Why knowing isn't always enough

We don't respond to life based only on what is happening in the present. Our past experiences shape the beliefs we form about ourselves, other people and the world around us.

Sometimes those beliefs come from significant events. Sometimes they develop gradually through repeated experiences, messages or moments that may have seemed relatively unimportant at the time. And often, it isn't simply what happened that matters. It's the meaning we attached to what happened:

I'm not good enough.

I'm not safe.

I have to get this right.

I can't cope.

Something bad is going to happen.

These conclusions can become deeply familiar patterns of thinking, feeling and responding.

Years later, the circumstances may be completely different. Consciously, you may know you're safe, capable or worthy, but a deeper subconcious response can still influence how you experience the present.

That's why simply telling yourself there's nothing to be afraid of, stop worrying, you're good enough, just get on with it usually doesn't create the change you want.

The past doesn't have to determine the present. Through RTT we understand what the mind learnt then, so we can help it respond differently now.

“The session with you helped me so much to transform all my negative beliefs that actually, I understood with my conscious mind but couldn't seem to change. Your guidance was so helpful and powerful to me.”

Sanita Zarina — Stay-at-home mum of 3

What is RTT Hypnotherapy?

RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) uses a various therapeutic techniques to explore experiences, beliefs, meanings and associations that may be influencing the way you think, feel and respond today.

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic practice that uses guided hypnosis to help a you reach a deeply relaxed, trance-like state of focused internal awareness.

Throughout the session you can hear me, you can speak to me and you are in control.

Together, we explore what may be contributing to the pattern you're experiencing and the meaning your mind has attached to previous experiences.

We then work with what we discover — reframing old meanings and reinforcing beliefs and responses that better support the way you consciously want to think, feel and live.

Working Together

01

Complimentary Connection Call

We begin with a 20–30 minute conversation.

You'll tell me a little about what you'd like help with, and I'll explain how I work, what RTT and hypnosis involve and what you can expect from a session.

It's also an opportunity for us to decide whether working together feels like the right fit

02

Your RTT Hypnotherapy Session

Your session begins with a detailed conversation about you, what you're experiencing now, how it affects your life, relevant experiences from your past and, importantly, how you would like things to be different.

We'll then move into hypnosis. Using RTT, I'll guide you as we explore the experiences, beliefs, meanings and associations that may be contributing to what you're experiencing today.

We'll work with what emerges to create new understanding, reframe old meanings and reinforce beliefs that better support the person you want to be.

Allow approximately two hours for your session.

03

Your Personalised Recording

Following the session, you'll receive a personalised hypnotherapy recording created around the work we've done together and the changes you want to reinforce.

You'll listen to your recording regularly for the following 21 days, reinforcing the new beliefs, thoughts and responses,

04

Follow-Up

I'll check in with you the day after your session and again as you move through the following weeks.

Change isn't experienced in exactly the same way by everyone. Sometimes people notice significant shifts quickly; sometimes change emerges more gradually through differences in thoughts, feelings and behaviour.

We'll look at what you're noticing and decide together whether further work would be useful.

Real Change

Sometimes the best way to understand what this work can change is to hear from someone who has experienced it for themselves.
